· Recycling for remanufacturing/utilization
Five large assemblies. According to the "Measures for the Management of Recovery of Scrapped Motor Vehicles", the five assemblies, such as the engine, direction engine, transmission and front and rear axle, which are dismantled, can be sold to manufacturing enterprises for recycling if conditions permit. If conditions for manufacturing are not met, it shall be sold as scrap metal to smelting or crushing enterprises.
Metal material. Numerous parts of trucks use metal materials, whether black or non-ferrous, which have great recycling value.
All kinds of materials and parts are classified and placed, and after mechanical treatment such as shearing, packaging, flattening or crushing, the steel is sent to the steel mill for smelting, the cast iron is sent to the foundry, and the non-ferrous metal is sent to the corresponding smelting furnace for recycling.
Plastics. In order to reduce the weight of the truck, the interior and exterior trim and functional structure parts, are increasingly using plastic.
As a kind of environmental protection material, plastic has the characteristics of strong plasticity, light weight and high recycling rate. Therefore the plastic that comes out of scrapped trucks is usually recycled.
Tires. Waste tires can be crushed by mechanical means, rubber powder can be obtained, is the main method of using waste tires in China.
There are numerous uses of rubber powder, such as: adding rubber material can replace part of the raw rubber, reduce the cost of products; mixed with asphalt or cement, can be used for highway construction and housing construction; and plastic can be used to make waterproof rolls, silencer boards and floors, etc.
The glass. The glass of the scrapped trucks mainly comes from lights, mirrors, car windows and so on. After recycling, the glass can be broken and remelted to make various glass bottles or other glass products.
But windshield except, because it has a gel, and there is no mature technology that can be disposed of, glass production enterprises do not accept, so generally can only be treated as household garbage.
· Additional disposal of hazardous waste
According to the Implementation Rules of the Measures for the Management of the Recovery of Scrapped Motor Vehicles implemented on September 1, 2020, the exhaust gas post-treatment devices and hazardous wastes dismantled by recycling and dismantling enterprises shall be truthfully recorded and handed over to enterprises with processing qualifications for dismantling and disposal, and shall not be sold or resold to other enterprises.
· Used accessories
Since it is impossible for truck spare parts products to reach equal life design, there will always be some spare parts whose performance is intact when the truck is scrapped. After passing the test, these parts can be sold directly as second-hand parts and continue to be used, but they must be marked as "reused parts of scrapped cars".
· Scrap sales
When a truck reaches the point of scrapping, it must be weather-beaten. It is not difficult to imagine that most of the components have no reuse value. Therefore, recycling and dismantling enterprises will be too old, do not have the value of secondary recycling parts, in the form of selling waste to deal with, the most is scrap iron.
